Intro to Blacksmithing
This class teaches the fundamental skills needed to forge steel and understand blacksmithing tools. We will go over forge safety and introduce fire tending, tapering, upsetting, flattening, and bending and spreading of hot steel so that students will be able to operate the forge on their own.Ages 14-15 with legal guardian present, Ages 16-17 legal guardian permission.*Remember to wear natural fibers. Synthetic fibers can be dangerous.*
