Finger-joint box maker

Give it the outside size of the box and the thickness of your material. It draws the panels with interlocking fingers and hands you an SVG at real size, ready for the laser cutter.

Everything happens in your browser. Measure your material with calipers before you trust the number printed on it: 3 mm plywood is rarely 3 mm, and the joints are only as good as that measurement.

The test is a small bar with numbered slots. Cut it from the same sheet, then push a scrap of that sheet into each slot. The slot that holds it snugly is labelled with your kerf: type that number above.

Red lines are cuts, drawn as hairlines. The file carries real units, so it should open at full size; check one dimension in your laser software before you cut.
